We believe that intercultural competence is a skill which cannot be learned solely from books – it must be experienced. This unique program will provide you with deep insights and help you gain the skills necessary in cross-border business management in the European and Asian context. By completing an internship in an international company, our students have the unique chance to directly apply the cross-cultural learning from the classes on the job.
Beside from University of Zurich, our faculty consists of professors and guest lecturers from top universities and renowned companies from all over the globe, including University of Oxford, Tsinghua University and Bocconi University.
The University of Zurich (UZH) is the largest University in Switzerland. Founded in 1833, it ranks today among the top 100 research institutions worldwide. The faculty of business, economics and informatics is one of the seven faculties where students from all over the world come to complete their Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, PhD or take part in one of the multiple continuous education programs. This makes the UZH a very attractive university in Switzerland for international students to do their Bacheolor or Master’s degree in Switzerland.

Participants must have a Master’s or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year's work experience.
All courses are taught in English.
Non-native English speaker are required to prove the necessary English skills by submitting their English test scores: IELTS 6.5 (no section lower than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 80 or equivalent.
We welcome direct applications.
Tuition fee: CHF 38 500.–, which includes all courses, seminars, exams and degree certificate, as well as language classes in the first semester. Travel, accommodation, study trips and application fee are not included.
The application fee of CHF 200 is non-refundable.

Student loan through Splendit
Splendit is the first internet platform for educational finance in Switzerland. They connect students and private investors based on a serviced crowdfunding concept by providing students access to a quick and fair source of financing. All courses of the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) European and Asian Business Management are taught in English. We welcome international students to study with us in Switzerland – so far, students from over 20 nations have graduated from the MAS European and Chinese Business Management program, the previous MAS program.
Lectures
All our courses are taught in-person at the University of Zurich, Switzerland (at the main UZH campus or other campuses in the city). However, the program reserves the right to switch to online teaching, depend on the COVID regulations and international travel restrictions any macro-situation beyond the university's control.

Corporate Project / Internship
Our students are responsible for finding their own corporate project / paid internship. This can be in a company or organization in Switzerland, Europe, Asia or any other place in the world.*
Our MAS students who are able to secure an internship in Switzerland will be able to qualify for a Swiss work permit for that internship position. The paid internship period supported by the EABM program is strictly 6-8 months full-time workload. Other part time or side job opportunities during the MAS EABM study program will be not supported nor be possible for students on a student visa in Switzerland. Rules may be different for candidates from Switzerland, EU, EFTA countries and holders of a valid work permission in Switzerland. If there are any questions in this regard, we encourage candidates to reach out to the EABM management team for more information.
*Depending on what work permits are available to the indvidual student.
